Kuş yemlerinde tal aflatoksin, nitrat ve nitrit

Abstract

Bursa’daki pet ve kuş dükkanları, süpermarketler ve Bursa Hayvanat Bahçesi’nden, 2000 yılı aralık ayında toplanan 22 kuş yeminde total aflatoksin, nitrat ve nitrit düzeyleri belirlendi. Aflatoksin ELISA, nitrat ve nitrit spektrofotometrik bir metodla ölçüldü. Aflatoksin 0.0-9.2 µg/kg, nitrat 0.0-3.1 mg/kg ve nitrit miktarları 0.0-1.3 mg/kg arasında bulundu. Aflatoksin ve nitratın bulunma oranı %72.72, nitrit %9 olarak hesaplandı. Sonuç olarak yem numunelerindeki total aflatoksin, nitrat ve nitrit düzeylerinin kuşların sağlığı açısından bir risk oluşturamayacağı kanısına varıldı.

Total aflatoxin, nitrate and nitrite levels were determined in 22 bird foods that collected from pet and bird shops, supermarkets and Bursa Zoo during December 2000 in Bursa province, Turkey. Aflatoxin were determined by ELISA, nitrate and nitrite were determined by a spectrophotometric method. The aflatoxin total concentrations were between 0.0-9.2 µg/kg; the nitrate and nitrite concentrations were between 0.0-3.1 and 0.0-1.3 mg/kg respectively. The incidence of total aflatoxin and nitrate in the bird foods were 72.72%; nitrite was 9%. As a conclusion, the levels of total aflatoxin, nitrate and nitrite found in the samples can not have any risk for birds health.
