Aksaray Valide Külliyesi inşaat defterleri

Abstract

Döneminin kültür ve sanat ortamını, sanat hamilerinin ve toplumun sanata bakış açılarını, sanattaki üslûp gelişmelerinin mimariye olan etkilerini gözler önüne serdiğinden, sanat tarihi araştırmalarında inşaat defterleri ayrı bir yer tutmaktadır. Aksaray Valide Külliyesi inşaat defterleri, çağının ekonomik ve sosyal ortamını göstermesiyle birlikte inşaatla ya da malzemesiyle ilgili esnaf ve sanatkâr gibi meslek gruplarının çalışma alanları ile bunların demografik yapısı, mimari ögeler ile inşai malzeme, bunların cins, miktar ve fiyatları ile kullanılan aletlerin isimleri hakkında bilgiler sunmaktadır. Bu defterler sayesinde taş, kum, tuğla, çakıl, kireç, ahşap, mermer, demir vb.nin hangi merkezlerden geldiğinin yanısıra, inşaatta çalışan kalfa ve amelelerin yevmiyeleri dolayısıyla binaların maliyetleri hakkında da bilgi sahibi oluyoruz.

In art history researches, the construction register books have a significant role because they reflect the cultural and artistic atmosphere of the era, the aspects of society and art patrons on the art, and the effect of style developments on architecture. The register books of Aksaray Valide Complex exhibiting the social and economic conditions of the time, they also represent useful informations about working areas of professional groups like artisans and craftmen, their demographic structures, architectural elements, construction materials, the type, quantity used, prices as well as the names of the tools used in construction process. Thanks to these register books, we learn from where stone, sand bricks, gravel, lime, timber, marble, iron and etc. came from, as well as the daily wages of the head workers and all the other employees, so we can estimate the cost of the construction.
