Abstract

Mehmet Ruhi Turan aile itibariyle Saraybosnalıdır. Kendisi Bursa İnegöl’de doğmuştur. Ailesi daha sonra Orhaneli’ne hicret etmiştir. Sarı Hoca ilk öğretim ve medrese tahsilini burada yapar. Hoca kırk yaşından sonra Balıkesir Dıırsunbey ilcesine taşınmış, asıl hizmetlerini burada sürdürmüştür. Bu makalede hayatı, eserleri ve yaptığı hizmetleri bulacaksınız.

Mehmet Ruhi Turan’s family came from Saraybosna but he was born in İnegöl. Then his family moved to Orhaneli. He (Sarı Hoca) got his fırst education and medrese degree in this tovm. He also moved to Dursunbey (a small town in Balıkesir) when he reached at the age o f forty. His Services and influance were great in this area.
