In order to know what God is, Moses directly turns to god. He ask his name straightway comes to the answer: Ego sum qui sum, Ait: sic dices filiis Israel; qui est misit me ad vos (Exodus. iii. 14). For thinking the God of religion or To Be is a foundation or a starting point. Then the philosophical Absolute or Being involves or presuppeses the God of religion. The fact that the reflection can’t serve two masters is obvious. Because of this many Christian philosophers identity God and Being. But does this solution itself produce a problem? |
