Küreselleşen dünyada din

Abstract

Küreselleşme, dünyada günümüzdeki siyasî, kültürel, ekonomik vb. süreçleri anlama ve anlamlandırma noktasında anahtar kavramlardan birisidir. Bu kısaca, bilgi, eşya, sermaye ve insanların, politik ve ekonomik sınırları aşan akışını ifade eder. Bugün kullanıldığı anlamda yeni bir kavram olan küreselleşmeye, insanlık tarihi boyunca çeşitli olguların temel teşkil ettiğini söylemek mümkündür. Bununla birlikte, küreselleşmenin felsefî arkaplânının postmodernizm olduğu yaygın biçimde kabul görmektedir. Bu çalışmada, esasları ve hedefleri yönünden küreselleşmeyle mücadele içinde olan dinlerin ve özellikle de İslâm’ın gittikçe küreselleşen bir dünya içindeki konumu incelenmeye çalışılacaktır.

Globalization is one of the key concepts to comprehend and interpret the political, cultural and economic etc. processes in the contemporary world. It briefly expresses the flow of the knowledge, goods, capital and persons that go beyond the political and economic borders. It may be said that the facts having taken place during the history of mankind are the bases of globalization which is a new concept in its contemporary meaning. However, it’s widely accepted that the philosophical background of the globalization is post-modernism. In this article, it will be tried to examine the condition of the religions, especially of Islam, that contend against globalization with regard to their principles and aims in the more and more globalized world.
