Abdülaziz Çâvîş son devir kelâmî problemlere yaklaşımı

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, son devir âlimlerinden birisi olan Abdülaziz Çâviş'in yaşadığı dönem göz önünde bulundurularak kelâmi konulara nasıl yaklaştığı, inanç esasları konusundaki görüşleri, İslâm'a karşı yöneltilen sorulara verdiği cevaplar açıklanmaya çalışılmıştır. Özellikle Abdülaziz Çâviş'in eserleri incelenerek hazırlanan bu çalışma giriş ve üç bölümden oluşmaktadır. Giriş kısmında ve birinci bölümde amaç ile kapsam başta olmak üzere Abdülaziz Çâviş'in hayatı, eserleri hakkında bilgiler verilmiştir. İkinci bölümde ise ilahiyyât, nübüvvet ve sem'iyyât konularındaki görüşleri ve bu konulardaki tartışmalı meselelere bakışı incelenmiştir.Üçüncü bölümde ise tartışmalı kelâmi konuların dışında kalan, siyaset, ahlak, ibadet, din ve İslam konuları hakkında Abdülaziz Çâviş'in görüşlerine değinilmiştir. Daha sonra sonuç bölümü ile çalışma sonlandırılmıştır.

The purpose of this study is to determine the approaches of one of the late period Muslim scholars, Abd al-Azīz Chawish, to the theological matters, his opinions about the Islamic creeds, and his responses against the criticisms towards Islam. Based on, especially, on Abd al-Aziz Chawish's own writings, this study comprises of an introduction and three chapters. In the introductory chapter and the first chapter, the information was given, first, about the purpose and scope of the study as well as the life and writings of Chawish. The second chapter analyses the theological opinions of Chawish on metaphysics (al-ilāhiyyāt), the prophethood (al-nubuwwāt), and the afterlife (al-sam'iyyāt), and debated issues about them. Subsequently, the third chapter is devoted to examine Chawish's approaches to the issues other than debated topics of classical Muslim theology such as politics, ethics, Islamic rituals, religion, and Islam. Finally, the study ends with a conclusion.
