Abstract

Evlilik, toplumun en küçük birimi ve onun temel taşı olmakla birlikte; erkek ve kadının aile kurmak üzere ruhen ve bedenen bir ömür boyu sürecek şekilde bir araya gelmesidir. Bu açıdan, Hıristiyanlığın Kutsak Kitabı olan İnciller, evliliğe büyük değer vermiş ve ölene kadar eşlerin birbirlerine sadık kalmalarını emretmiştir. Evlilik, Hıristiyan tasavvuruna göre, insanın içinde Tanrı'dan sonra önemli bir boşluğu doldurur. Evlilik vasıtasıyla insan Tanrı ve kilisenin emirlerinden birini yerine getirmiş olur. yaradılıştan beri Tanrı tarafından takdir edilmiş ve kutsanmış olan evlilik; sevgi ve sadakati içeren, İsa'nın kiliseye ilişkisini yansıtan, erkek ve kadını birbirine ayrılmaz bağlarla bağlayan önemli bir kurum olmuştur. Marriage, the smalles unit of the society and a cornerstone of it, is the coming together of man and woman with the intention of establishing a family both spiritually and physically for the resnt of their life. The Gospels, the holy book of Christian its, gives a tremendous value to marriage and orders couples to be loyal to each other throughout their life. Marriage, next to God, fiil a significant amount of emptines, in the life of a human being. With the help of marriage then a human being will be able to fullfil on of the commands of God and church. Appraised and santified by God from the very beginning of the universe, is an institution that incorporate love and loyalty, and reflect the relation between Jesus Christ and the Church, and from an indestructible bond between man and woman. Propagation, one of the main goals of marriageü is the divine wiğll from marriage. Duye to this, Christians consider marriage as a mandatory necessity and secred institution.
