Evrim teorisi tanrının varlığı için gerçek bir tehdit midir?

Abstract

Evrim teorisi Darwin tarafından ortaya konulduğundan itibaren tartışmaların hep odağında olmuştur. Söz konusu teori canlıların ortaya çıkışında ve çeşitlenmesinde dinlerin öğretileriyle çelişen bir iddiayı dile getirmektedir. Bu çalışma, öncelikle evrim teorisinin ne olduğu ve ne olmadığı konusunu açıklığa kavuşturmayı hedefler. Zira evrim fikri ile evrim teorisi arasındaki ayrımın farkında olmak bu konuda doğru değerlendirme yapmanın ön koşuludur. İkinci olarak din-bilim ilişkisi bağlamında natüralizmin evrim teorisi açısından anlamı ve önemi üzerinde durur. Son olarak ise doğanın ve canlıların bir amaçla ve kusursuz bir şekilde Tanrı tarafından mı yaratıldığı, yoksa doğadaki mekanik süreçlerin bir sonucu olarak mı ortaya çıktığı tartışmasına girer. Fakat tüm bu tartışmalar biyoloji biliminin sınırları içinde değil felsefi bir zeminde yapılmıştır.

The theory of evolution, since it was manifested by Darwin, is always in the focus of discussions. The claim that this theory has expressed conflicts with the doctrines of the religions on the emergence and diversifying of the creatures. First of all, this paper aims to clarify that what the theory of evolution is or what it is not. To evaluate the subject correctly we should be aware of the distinction between the idea of evolution and the theory of evolution. Secondly in the context of relationship between religion and science it dwells on the meaning and the importance of the naturalism in terms of the theory of evaluation. Lastly, it discusses that were the nature and the living beings perfectly created by God for a purpose or did they emerge as a result of the mechanical processes. All these discussions have been held on a philosophical ground not within the boundaries of biological science.
