Edwin E. Gordon'un ileri yaşlar için müziksel işitme testi üzerine bir inceleme

Abstract

Yüzyılımızın başından itibaren, zekayla ilgili testler olduğu gibi müzik yeteneğiyle ilgili testlerin oluşturulması da gündeme gelmiştir. Bu testlerin yakın geçmişteki en tanınmış olanları E. Gordon 'a aittir. Gordon 'un 1989 'da ilk kez uyguladığı ve daha öncekilerden farklı olarak ileri yaşlardaki öğrenciler için hazırladığı Müziksel İşitme Testi, bu özelliği nedeniyle müzik eğitimi veren yükseköğretim kurumları için ayrı bir önem taşımaktadır. Bu çalışmada, testin 1998 'de U Ü.E.F. Müzik Eğitimi Bölümü son sınıfında bulunan 30 öğrenciye uygulanması ve sonuçları konu edilmiştir.

Since begining of our century, as there are IQ tests, it has been on the agenda to develop tests about music ability. The most known ones of these tests which have been constructed in recent past belong to E. Gordon. "Advanced Measures of Music Audition" different from the previous ones, was designed for college and university and was first practised in 1989. The test is important to universities which give music education because of its special property. In this study, it is mentioned about the test practised on 30 students fourth level of UUE.F. Music Education Department and its results.
