Bazı yabani ve kafes kuşlarında gözlenen klinik ve patolojik bulgular

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, 1994-1998 periyodunda incelenen 46 adet yabani ve kafes kuşunun klinik ve patolojik bulgular değerlendirildi. Bu süre içerisinde 22 muhabbet kuşu, 12 güvercin, 5 papağan, 4. kanarya, 1 martı, 1 balıkçıl ve 1 tavus kuşuna ait dokuların mikroskobik incelenmesi sonucu 14 malign tümör; 4 benign tümör; 3 Escherichia coli enfeksiyonu; 2 nonspesifik granülasyon dokusu; 2 hiperkeratoz; 2 mantar enfeksiyonu ve birer kez de adenomatöz guatr, epidermoid kist, periorbital doku tüberkülozu, nonpurulent ensefalitis, korpus vitreum da kanama, interstisyel pnömoni, ürikoliz (gut), akut hepatitis ile kataral enteritis ve son olarak yumurta retansiyonu tanıları kondu. Ayrıca 11 güvercinde Newcastle hastalığı histopatolojik ve serolojik olarak teşhis edildi.

In this study clinical and pathological findings of 46 wild and captive birds which were examined in 1994-1998 periods, were evaluated. In this time, tissue materials of 22 budgerigars, 12 pigeons, 5 parrots, 4 canaries, 1 seagull, 1 heron and 1 peacock were examined and 14, malign tumors, 4 benign tumors, 3 E. Coli infections, 2 on specific granulation tissues, 2 hyperkeratosis, 2 fungal infections, and each one adenomatous guatr, epidermoid eysi, tuberculosis of the periorbital tissue, encephalitis nonpurulent, haemorrhagia in the corpus vitreum, interstitial pneumonia, hepatitis acuta with enteritis catarrhalis acuta and finally egg retention were recognized. In addition, newcastle disease was diagnosed histopathologically and serologically in 11 pigeons.
