Büreyde bin Husayb el-Eslemi

Abstract

Bu tezde Horasan bölgesinde en son vefat eden sahabi olan Büreyde b. Husayb el-Eslemî'nin hayat hikâyesi hakkında bilgi vermeye çalışılmıştır. Tez giriş, üç bölüm ve sonuçtan oluşmaktadır. Giriş bölümünde tezin amacı belirtilip, sık kullanılan temel kaynaklar; birinci bölümde Büreyde b. Husayb'ın kabilesi olan Huzâalılar, Büreyde'nin soyu, ailesi ve Müslüman oluşu; ikinci bölümde Büreyde b. Husayb'ın Hz. Peygamber (sav) ve Hulefâ-i Râşidîn dönemindeki faaliyetleri; üçüncü bölümde Büreyde b. Husayb'ın Merv'e gelmesi, şahsiyeti, fazileti ve hadis rivayetindeki yeri hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. Araştırma elde edilen sonuçların belirtilmesiyle tamamlanmıştır. Ayrıca çalışmanın sonuna Merv ve Büreyde b. Husayb'ın türbesine ait eski ve yeni çekilmiş fotoğraflar eklenmiştir.

In this thesis, we tried to give information about Burayda b. Husayb al-Aslami, the last companion of Prophet Mohammad's (PBUH) died in Khurasan region. Thesis is divided into one introduction, three chapters and a conclusion. In the introduction, the aim of thesis is indicated and information has been given about the frequently used basic sources. In first chapter information has been given about Buraida b. Husaib's tribe, lineage, family and his conversion to Islam. In second chapter we have dealt with Buraida b. Husaib's activities during Prophet's life time and during the reign of rightly guided caliphs. In third chapter the information has been given about his arrival to the city of Merv, his character and his virtues, merits and his role in narration of Prophetical sayings (a hadith). Our research has been completed by mentioning the outcomes obtained from it. Besides, some old and some newly taken photos of the City of Merv and of Buraida b. Husaib's shrine have been added.
