Bursa Sesleri Gazetesi'nde Bursa'daki sosyo-ekonomik ve kültürel hayatın yansımaları (1935,1936,1937)

Abstract

Bu çalışmada 1935-1937 yılları arasında çıkan Bursa Sesleri Gazetesi'nde, Bursa'nın sosyal, ekonomik ve kültürel gelişmeleri ele alınmıştır. Bu tarihlerde Türkiye'de Atatürk devrimleriyle birlikte her alanda toplumsal bir değişim yaşanmaktadır. Osmanlı Devleti kurumlarının yerine Batı örnek alınarak yeni kurumlar alınmıştır ve bunun topluma uygulanması süreci yaşanmaktadır. Bursa'da da bu dönüşümün izlerini takip etmek mümkündür. Bursa'da ekonomik açıdan, devletçilik ilkesi ve uygulamaları, bunun yanında özel teşebbüs yatırımları görülmektedir. Kültürel hayatta ise özellikle Bursa Halkevi'nin yeni rejimin tanıtılması ve benimsetilmesi faaliyetleri gerçekleşmektedir. Bursa Sesleri Gazetesi'nde yayınlanan köşe yazıları ve yazı dizileri vb. yayınlar da, dönemin gelişmelerini destekler niteliktedir.

In this study, social, economical and cultural developments in Bursa that were mentioned in Bursa Sesleri (Sounds of Bursa) Newspaper between 1935 and 1937 are elaborated. By that time, Turkey was going though a major change as a society after the reforms of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. The main purpose of the republican establishment was to create an independent national state in every respect. During that era, the constitutions of the collapsed Ottoman State were being replaced by new constitutions, which were inspired by the western cultures. Hence, the society was experiencing this shift explicitly. It is also possible to observe these implications in the City of Bursa. In terms of economy, statist politics and its applications can be observed. In socio-cultural life, especially in casual life, entertainment, and women's public life, new developments were apparent. We can also see the intense activities of Bursa Halkevi (Bursa Society House) in order to introduce the new regime and make it be adopted by the public. Columns, periodicals and other writings published in Bursa Sesleri were all in accordance with this process and developments, conforming with the ideals and politics of the government.
