Abstract: Langerhan's cell histiocytosis (LCH) is characterised by the local and diffuse infiltration of monocytes which originated from the promonocytes of the bone marrow. Central nervous system involvement occurs in Hand-Schuller-Christian disease and Letterer-Siwe syndrome. LCH of the orbita is reported to be rare in childhood. A one-;year old boy who had pure bone involvement is presented here and the diagnostic and therapeutic approaches are discussed in the light of the literature.
