Bursa Hurûfât defterleri (1750-1800)

Abstract

Çalışmamızın temelini oluşturan ve 1750-1800 yıllarını kapsayan Bursa Hurûfât Defterleri, Osmanlı vakıf kurumlarının işleyişi hakkında önemli bilgileri içermektedir. Hurûfât Defterleri kayıtlarıyla her kazadaki vakıf müesseseleri, bu kurumların kurucularının isimleri; bu kurumlarda görev yapan personelin kimlikleri, maaşları, zaman içerisinde meydana gelen değişmeleri de takip edebilmekteyiz. Bursa’daki dini kurumlar (cami, mescid vb.) isimleri ve bulundukları yerleşim birimlerinin yanı sıra vakıf kurumlarında vazife yapan personelin, babalarıyla birlikte adlarını, bunların atama ve azillerine etki eden faktörleri de bu defterlerde görmekteyiz. Halkın ikamet ettiği mahalleler, iktisadi faaliyetlerin cereyan ettiği çarşı, han ve bedesten gibi mekânların isimlerini tespit edebildiğimiz gibi, Bursa’nın nahiyeleri ve bunlara bağlı olan köyler hakkında da önemli bulgular elde edebilmekteyiz. Çalışmamızın temelini dini kurumlar (cami, mescit, tekke, türbe vs.) ve din görevlileri oluşturmaktadır. Bu kayıtlar, Osmanlı tarihiyle Bursa’nın idarî, sosyoekonomik tarihinin tespiti açısından son derecede önemlidir. Giriş bölümünde Hurûfât kayıtları hakkında kısa bir bilgi verilmiş, Birinci bölümde Bursa’nın kısaca tarihi ve Hurûfât defterlerine değinilmiş, İkinci bölüm Bursa Hurûfât kayıtlarında elde edilen ayrıntılı bir indekse yer verilmiştir.

The Hurufat Records are daily paperwork records of the operations of a foundation (appointment, dismissal, death etc.) by date. Historically, Hurufat Records are important source for studies to be carried out in the field of economic history, especially when foundations and institutions, employees, settlement and settlement history, art history, wages and employment are evaluated.Hurufat Records provide information about the historical development of the cities, especially the Ottoman townships. In this study, where Ottoman's rule in the state and empire periods was examined, the writings of clericals, minstrels and rituals were tried to be brought to the researcher in order to be a resource for the researcher who conducted the fieldwork.The subject of registering in the books is the matter of relocating, renewing the registration documents, the name and title of the renewal fee and similar subjects.In later periods, it is understood that the functions of the books have been enlarged by keeping the records of the places of worship, mosques, tombs and cemeteries. We tried to give a brief information about the Hurufat Records in the entrance section. In the first section, the Bursa history and Hurufat Records were examined, while in the second chapter, the Bursa Records were published and information was given about the duties and duties of the books.
