Bizans dönemi mandibula'larında foramen mentale ve foramen mandibula açıları ile mandibula açısı ölçümleri

Abstract

Geç Bizans Dönemi yetişkin erkeklerine ait 29 mandibulada mandibula açısı, 36 mandibulada foramen mentale ve foramen mandibulae açılan ölçüldü. Mandibula açısı ortalama 123.03 ± 1.35 (ortalama ± SH) derece olarak saptandı. Beyaz ırk özelliğine uygunluk gösteren mandibula açısının günümüze kadar artış gösterdiği belirlendi. Foramen mentale, gnathion ve mandibula alt kenan arasında oluşan ve bu oluşumların izdüşümlerinden yararlanılarak ölçülen foramen mentale açısı sağda 26.36 ± 0.68 derece, solda 25.39 ± 0.59 derece bulundu. Bu açılar yardımıyla ölçülen foramen mentale ile gnathion arasındaki uzaklık sağda 28.13 ± 0.39 mm, solda 28.67 ± 0.36 mm olarak ölçüldü. Benzer izdüşüm yöntemiyle foramen mandibulae, gnathion ve mandibula alt kenan arasında oluşan foramen mandibula açısı sağda 13.88 ± 0.42 derece, solda 13.32 ± 0.39 derece; foramen mandibulae ile gnathion arasındaki uzaklık sağda 85.31 ± 0.68 mm ve solda 87.19 ± 0.64 mm olarak saptandı.

Mandibular angles of the 29 mandibles, mental foramen and mandibular foramen angles of the 36 mandibles were measured on the mandibles of the Late Byzantine Period. The mean value of the mandibular angle was 123.03 ± 1.35 degrees (mean ± SE). It was found that the mandibular angle suitable to the characteristics of the whites had been. increasing gradually up to now. The mental foramen angle which was formed among the inferior border of the mandible, mental foramen and gnathion and which was measured by means of their projections was 26.36 ± 0.68 degrees on the right and 25.39 ± 0.59 degrees on the left. 17the distance between the mental foramen and gnathion was measured by means of these angles was 28.13 ± 0.39 mm on the right and 28.67 ± 0.36 mm on the left. Again the mandibular foramen angle which formed among the inferior border of the mandible, mandibular foramen and gnathion and which was measured with the same method was 13.88 ± 0.42 degrees on the night and 13.32 ± 0.39 degrees on the left. The distance between mandibular foramen and gnathion which can be measured by means of these angles was 85.31 ± 0.68 mm on the right and 87.19 ± 0.64 mm on the left.
