Abstract: This article presents a microcomputer-based, interactive, menu-driven visual software package developed to investigate design, off-design, and transient operations of single- and twin-shaft industrial gas turbines, providing mechanical engineering students with the opportunity for flexible operation within the courseware and its software environment.
