Abstract: Behcet's disease is characterised by the clinical presence of recurrant oral and genital ulcerations with relapsing inflammation of the eye. Vascular involvement including arterial and venous occlusions, varices and aneurysms occur most commonly in the abdominal aorta, femoral and pulmonary arteries. There have been a few reports of aneurysm of cerebral arteries in the literature. The authors describe two patients with Behcet's disease. The first patient suffering from intracerebral and intraventricular hemorrhage due to a ruptured aneurysm, and the second from subarachnoid hemorrhage due to vasculitis.
