Viral infections are the most common infections in children and adults. They are the most common cause of exanthematous rashes in children. Some viral diseases that mainly present with skin-mucosa findings, usually appear with vesiculobullous or papuler lesions. Most of the causative viruses (except varicella zoster virus) can use skin as the entrance gate. In this article, the diseases that are caused by Human Herpes Virus, Human Papilloma Virus and Pox Virus and which present with skin manifestations will be discussed. |
