Abstract: In this article, Psychological and Social causes which have effects on the people, who grow up in a Muslim environment and then converted to Christianity, are analyzed. The answers are sought for questions such as the main reason for these people to convert from Islam to Christianity, the process of conversion, the reason why they have an interest in Christianity and the expectations they have in new beliefs. According to the information collected through the research. The reason for Turkish People to convert to Christianity is more a matter of psycho-social deprivation than a matter of theology. Apart from the active efforts of missionaries, the decreasing rate of religion's social control effect over Turkish People's social and cultural life is also considered to be one of the dominant reasons for the conversion of the people in question.
