Abstract: An eight-year-old male cat, with neoplastic mammary lesions and Concurrent, regular administration of medroxprogesterone acetate for four years, had abdominal ultrasonographic and thoracic radiographic examinations performed to assess for metastases. Rapid lymph drainage was observed with the injection of a non-ionic contrast medium (iohexol) into the mammary parenchyma. Drainage to the inguinal lymph determined the strategy of mastectomy which revealed a papillary cystadenocarcinoma. Long administration of medroxprogesterone acetate may be related to neoplastic mammary masses, not only in bitches and queens, but also in male cats.
