Total anormal ven drenajı olgularında hipoplazik sol ventrikülün prognoza olan etkisi

Abstract

Total anormal pulmoner ven dönüş anomalilerinde kalbin sol tarafının yetersiz gelişmesi sık rastlanılan bir durum değildir. Her ne kadar sol atrium küçük olsa da ortak pulmoner ven odacağının sol atriuma anastomozu genellikle bu durumu telafi eder. Buna karşılık sol ventrikülün boyutlarının küçüklüğü hastaların total tamirden sonraki erken ölümlerinden sorumlu daha önemli bir faktör olarak göze çarpmaktadır.

Underdevolepment of the left side of the heart in total abnormal pulmonary venous return is not common. Altough the left atrium is often small in TAPVR in the form of a common pulmonary venous chamber usually compansates to this. On the other hand, the small size of the left ventricle usually is a more significant factor in the early deaths of patients after total correction.
