Adalet Ağaoğlu’nun Ölmeye Yatmak adlı eserinde bildirim, çıkarım, sezdirim cümleleri

Abstract

Ek, sözcük, cümle incelemelerinden metne doğru kayan dil incelemelerinin seyri, dilin hem biçim hem anlam olarak ele alınmasını gerektirir. Anlam incelemelerinde dilin çok boyutlu olduğunun görülmesi, iletiyle verilmek istenen mesajın ne olduğu, gerçekte ne kastedilmeye çalışıldığı konularını gündeme getirir. Cümlelerin farklı bağlamlarda farklı anlamlara gelebilme özelliği, zaman zaman alıcıyla vericinin anlaşamamasına neden olur. Bir de dille anlatılanın ötesinde asıl kastedilenin ne olduğu konusu devreye girince yazarın niyetini açığa çıkarmanın yolları aranmaya başlanır. Uzun kurgusal türlerde metnin başında verilen bilgiyle sonunda verilen bilgi arasında konuyla doğrudan ve dolaylı ilgili bölümlerin yer alması, hem ana konudan kopulmasına hem de başta verilen bilginin unutulmasına neden olur. Bu da metin bütüncül olarak nasıl çözülmesi gerektiği sorununu doğurur. Tüm bu sorunlardan yola çıkarak bu tezde öncelikle dil incelemelerinin doğuşu, edimbilim, edimbilimsel kuramlar ve kiplik konuları üzerinde durulmuş daha sonra bildirim, sezdirim, çıkarım cümleleriyle ilgili bilgiler verilmiştir. Adalet Ağaoğlu’nun “Ölmeye Yatmak” romanı derlem olarak alınarak bildirim, sezdirim, çıkarım cümleleri, bağlamdan kopmadan tek tek incelenmiştir. İlgili örnekler üzerinde yapılan çözümlemeler sonucu, geçmiş incelemeler de referans alınarak sınıflandırmalar yapılmıştır. Cümlelerin anlam oluşturma sürecinde birbirlerine etkileri ve vericinin cümlelerle ne anlam ifade etmek istediği bilgisine ulaşılması amaçlanan çalışmada; bildirim, sezdirim, çıkarım cümlelerinin hangi niyetle kullanıldığı üzerine de değerlendirmeler yapılmıştır. Bu çalışma; bildirim, sezdirim, çıkarım cümleleriyle ilgili yapılmış geniş kapsamlı bir çalışma olması ve bütüncül olmayan bilgileri derli toplu tek bir çalışma içinde sunacak olması açısından önemlidir. Çalışmanın yazarın özgün dil kullanımıyla ilgili ve edimbilimsel çalışma yapacak kişilere yol gösterici olması umulmaktadır.

Language studies, shifting from suffix, word, sentence analysis to the text, require language to be considered both in terms of form and meaning. The fact that language is multidimensional in semantic studies brings up issues such as what the message is intended to be given by a message, and what is actually meant. The ability of sentences to have different meanings in different contexts sometimes causes the receiver and the sender to disagree. Also, when the issue of what is meant beyond what is told by language comes into play, ways to reveal the author's purpose and intention are sought. This raises the problem of how the text should be resolved holistically. Starting from all these problems, in this thesis, first of all, the birth of language studies, pragmatics, pragmatic theories and modality issues are emphasized, and then information about declaration, implicature and inference sentences are given. Adalet Ağaoğlu's novel “Ölmeye Yatmak” was taken as a corpus, and the statements of declaration, implicature and inference were examined one by one without leaving the context. As a result of the analyzes made on the relevant samples, a classification was made with reference to the previous examinations. In the study, which is aimed to reach the information about the effects of sentences on each other in the process of creating meaning and what the author wants to express with sentences; Evaluations were also made on the intention of using the statements of declaration, implicature, inference. This work; It is important in that it is a comprehensive study on declaration, implicature, inference statements and that it presents non-holistic information in a single, tidy study. It is hoped that the study will guide those who will do pragmatic work on the author's original language use.
