dc.description.abstractBu çalışma Uludağ Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Fiziksel Tıp ve Rehabilitasyon kliniğine başvuran omurilik yaralanması olan 35 hastada gerçekleştirildi. Yaralanmanın esas nedeni yüksekten düşmeye bağlıdır (15 olgu, % 42.9). 11 olgu motorlu taşıt kazalarında yaralanmıştır. Hastaneden çıkışta 9 hastada basınç yarası vardı. Hastaneden çıkışta 32 hasta (% 91.4) orthotics (breys) kullanmaktaydı, ancak 8 hasta sonradan bres kullanımını tümden bırakmıştı.tr_TR
dc.description.abstractA follow-up study was carried out on 35 patients with spinal cord injury who were admitted to the in-patient department of physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Medical Faculty of Uludağ University. The major cause of injury is due to falling from high. Eleven patients were injured in motor vehicle accidents. Nine patients had a pressure sore at the time of discharge from hospital. In discharge, 91.4 percent of patients were equipped with orthotic appliances but afterwards 8 patients had completely abandoned the use of braces.en_US
