Abstract: | Birleşik kök anomalilerinde klinik belirtiler disk hernisi veya faset basısı gibi faktörlerin eklenmesiyle ortaya çıkar. Kliniğimizde 525 disk hernili olgunun 5'inde (% 0.9) disk hemisinin eşlik ettiği birleşik root anamalisi tesbit edilmiştir. Kesin tanı, 2 olguda preoperatif, 3 olguda ise operasyon sırasında konulmuştur. Tanıdaki zorluk ve operasyon bulguları literatür bilgileri ışığında tartışıldı. Either computurised tomography (CT) or myelography alone may be inadequate in radiological diagnosis of conjoined nerve roots anomalies with herniated nucleus pulposus. Correlation of clinical suspicion with both myelographic and CT findings is essential for definitive diagnosis. Five patients with conjoined nerve roots were found among 525 patients operated on for herniated discs in our clinic. All of these cases had evidence of a herniated disc. Definitive diagnosis was made in perioperative stage. Difficulty of diagnosis and treatment modality were discussed with review of the literature. |
