Kıraat ilminde Tevâtür olgusuna farklı bir yaklaşım

Abstract

İslâmî ilimler kapsamında rivayetlerin kabul edilirlik derecesini ifade etmek üzere ilim adamları tarafından çeşitli terimler kullanılmıştır. Bu terimler içinde tevâtür terimi rivayetlerin en üst düzeydeki kabul derecesini ifade etmektedir. Tevâtür meselesinin özellikle erken dönem usûl alimlerinin gündeminde olduğu görülmekle birlikte farklı ilim dallarının terminolojisinde aynı terimlere rastlamamız tabiidir. Bu terimlerin ilgili ilim dalında hangi anlamı karşıladığını tespit etmek, kavramı o alandaki çerçevesine oturtmak ve kıraatlerin mütevâtirliğinin ne ifade ettiğini ortaya çıkarmak, doğru bir anlayış açısından önemlidir. Bu sebeple İslâmî ilimlerin çeşitli dallarında görülen tevâtür teriminin kıraat ilminde ne anlam ifade ettiği bu çalışmamızda ele alınacaktır. Ayrıca hadis ve usûl âlimlerinin bu terime yükledikleri anlamla kıraat ulemâsının mütevâtir terimini anlayışları arasında hangi yönlerden farklılıklar bulunduğu üzerinde durulacaktır. Böylece kıraat ilminde kullanılan tevâtürün diğer ilim dallarında anlaşıldığı gibi bir tevâtür olmadığı ortaya konulacak ve kıraatlerle ilgili yanlış mefhumların giderilmesinde ve bu terimle ilgili bir anlam kaymasının önlenmesinde çalışmamızın kıraat ilmi alanına katkı sağlayacağı düşünülmektedir.

Within the scope of Islamic sciences, various terms have been used by scholars to express the degree of acceptability of narrations. Among these terms, the term (tawātur/mutawātir) is considered on the highest level of acceptance. It is ordinary to come across the same terminology within varying branches of the Islamic knowledge domain. It is of utmost importance to establish meanings that correspond to these terms within the field of interest rather than defining it with an inexact definition of a framework from a different field of knowledge. In this study, the meaning of the term (tawātur) seen in various branches of Islamic sciences will be discussed within the realm of the science of Qurʾānic recitations (Qirāʾāt). In addition, the meaning attributed to this word by the scholars of ḥadīth opposed to the understanding of the recitation scholars will be focused on and emphasized. Thus, it is thought that our study will contribute to the elimination of misconceptions about (tawātur) and preventing a shift in meaning related to this term, by demonstrating that the (tawātur) used in the science of Qurʾānic recitation is not the (tawātur) that is used and understood in the other branches of Islamic sciences.
