Abstract: A case of fibroadenomatous hyperplasia of the mammary gland in a nine-month-old female cat is reported. It was treated with medroxyprogesterone acetate for the suppression of oestrus. Two weeks later. hyperplasia occurred in all mammary glands. The progesterone receptor blocker aglepristone was given sc (10mg/kg) on days 1, 2 and 7. Mammary gland hyperplasia had completely regressed by day 21.
