Lise öğrencilerinin tarımsal projelere ilgilerinin belirlenmesi üzerine bir araştırma

Abstract

Geçmişten günümüze insanlığın devamı için gerekli olan gıda ihtiyacı tarımdan sağlanmıştır. İnsanlık tarihinde beslenme ve geçim kaynağı olarak karşımıza çıkan tarım günümüzde gelişen teknolojiler ve bilimin ilerlemesi ile daha verimli üretim elde edilen bir sektör haline gelmiştir. Ülkelerin ekonomilerinde, istihdam alanlarında ve kişi başına düşen gelir hesaplamalarında tarım her zaman önemli olmuştur. Türkiye bulunduğu coğrafya itibariyle tarıma elverişli bir ülkedir. Diğer sektörlerin gelişmesi ile tarım alanı ile uğraşan kişi sayısı azalsa da salgın sürecinde de görüldüğü gibi insanlar için gıda en temel ihtiyaçtır ve tarım her zaman önemli olmuştur. Bu çalışmada Anadolu Liseleri'nde birçok alanda proje üreten öğrencilerin tarımsal alanlarda proje üretme konusunda farkındalıklarının ne kadar olduğu, bu alandan ve alandaki sorunlardan ne kadar haberdar olduğu, günümüz ve gelecekte teknoloji kullanılarak tarımla ilgili nasıl projeler üretilebileceği konularında tutum ve ilgilerinin ölçülmesi hedeflenmiştir. Bu hedef doğrultusunda 496 öğrenciye uygulanan anket doğrultusunda cinsiyetin öğrencinin verdiği cevaplar üzerinde etkili olduğu noktalar tespit edilmiştir. Öğrenci ve ailesinin yaşadığı yerin öğrencinin verdiği cevaplar üzerinde hiç etkisinin olmadığı görülmüştür. Öğrenci velisinin eğitim durumunun öğrenci cevapları üzerinde etkili olduğu bölümler tespit edilmiştir. Ailenin tarımsal varlığa sahip olma unsurunun öğrencilerin verdikleri cevapları fazla etkilemediği düşünülmektedir. Araştırmanın genişletilerek daha fazla okulda yapılması öğrenci ilgilerinin tarım üzerinde yoğunlaşması ile ilgili çalışmalara kaynak oluşturabileceği, ayrıca tarım eğitiminin şekillenmesinde öngörü sağlayabileceği düşünülmektedir.

The food need for the continuation of humanity has been provided from agriculture from past to present. Having been emerged as a source of nutrition and livelihood in the history of humanity, agriculture has become a sector where more efficient production is obtained with the advancement of technology and science today. Agriculture has always been important for the economies, employment areas and per capita income calculations of the countries. Türkiye is a country suitable for agriculture due to its geography. Although the number of people dealing with agriculture decreased with the development of other economic areas, food is the most basic need for people and agriculture always has to be important, as also seen in the epidemic process. In this study, it is aimed to reveal; the attitudes and interests of the high school students who conduct projects in many fields, about the level of their awareness of producing projects in agricultural areas, how much they are aware of this field and the problems in the field, and how to produce projects related to agriculture by using technology of both today and future. In line with the questionnaire applied to 496 students in relation to this goal, it has been determined that gender has an effect on the answers given by the student. It has been seen that the places where the students and their families live have no effect on the answers given by the students. It has been determined that the educational status of the student's parents has an impact on the student's answers. It is thought that the element of having an agricultural asset in the family does not affect the answers given by the students much. It is believed that expanding the research and conducting it in more schools can create a resource for studies related to the concentration of student interests on agriculture, as well as provide foresight in shaping agricultural education.
