Sosyal bilgiler öğretmen adaylarının eleştirel düşünme düzeyleri ile girişimcilik düzeyleri arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesi

Abstract

Mevcut çalışmada sosyal bilgiler öğretmen adaylarının eleştirel düşünme ile girişimcilik düzeyleri arasındaki ilişkinin belirlenmesi amaçlanmaktadır. Buna ek olarak çalışmada, sosyal bilgiler öğretmen adaylarının eleştirel düşünme ve girişimcilik düzeylerinde cinsiyet ve sınıf seviyesi değişkenlerinin anlamlı bir fark oluşturup oluşturmadığı da sorgulanmıştır. Nicel araştırma yöntemlerinin kullanıldığı bu çalışmada, örneklemi 2020 - 2021 eğitim – öğretim yılında Bursa Uludağ Üniversitesi, Eğitim Fakültesi, Sosyal Bilgiler Eğitimi Ana Bilim Dalı’nda öğrenim gören 151 öğretmen adayı oluşturmuştur. Veri toplama araçları olarak Ağdacı (2018) tarafından uyarlanan “Eleştirel Düşünme Ölçeği” ve Deveci ve Çepni (2015) tarafından geliştirilen “Öğretmen Adaylarına Yönelik Girişimcilik Ölçeği” kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen nicel verilerin analizinde SPSS 25 paket programı kullanılmıştır. Mevcut çalışmada, sosyal bilgiler öğretmen adaylarının eleştirel düşünme düzeylerinin yüksek olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Bununla beraber eleştirel düşünme düzeylerinde cinsiyet değişkenine göre kadınlar lehine anlamlı bir fark tespit edilmiştir. Öğretmen adaylarının eleştirel düşünme düzeylerinde, sınıf seviyesi değişkenine göre birinci ve üçüncü sınıflar arasında üçüncü sınıflar lehine anlamlı bir fark olduğu saptanmıştır. Öğretmen adaylarının girişimcilik düzeylerinin de yüksek olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Girişimcilik düzeylerinde cinsiyet değişkenine göre kadınlar lehine anlamlı bir fark tespit edilmiştir. Öğretmen adaylarının girişimcilik düzeylerinde sınıf seviyesi değişkenine göre birinci ve üçüncü sınıflar arasında üçüncü sınıflar lehine anlamlı bir fark olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Ayrıca, sosyal bilgiler öğretmen adaylarının eleştirel düşünme düzeyleri ile girişimcilik düzeyleri arasında aynı yönde yüksek düzeyde anlamlı bir ilişki olduğu görülmüştür.

In the current study, it is aimed to determine the relationship between critical thinking and entrepreneurship levels of social studies trainee teachers. In addition, in the study, it was also questioned whether the variables of gender and grade level make a significant difference in the critical thinking and entrepreneurship levels of social studies trainee teachers. In this study, in which quantitative research methods were used, the sample consisted of 151 trainee teachers studying at Bursa Uludağ University Faculty of Education, Department of Social Studies Education in the 2020 - 2021 academic year. “Critical Thinking Scale” adapted by Ağdacı (2018) and “Entrepreneurship Scale for Prospective Teachers (ESPT)” developed by Deveci and Çepni (2015) were used as data collection tools. SPSS 25 package program was used in the analysis of the quantitative data obtained. In the current study, it was concluded that the critical thinking levels of social studies trainee teachers are high. However, a significant difference was found in favor of women according to the gender variable in the levels of critical thinking. It was determined that there was a significant difference between the first and third grades in favor of the third grades according to the grade level variable in the critical thinking levels of the trainee teachers. It was concluded that the entrepreneurship levels of the trainee teachers were also high. A significant difference was found in favor of women according to the gender variable in the levels of entrepreneurship. It has been concluded that there is a significant difference between the first and third grades in favor of the third grades according to the grade level variable in the entrepreneurship levels of trainee teachers. In addition, it has been observed that there is a high level of significant relationship between the critical thinking levels and entrepreneurship levels of social studies trainee teachers in the same direction.
