Ömer F. Oyal’ın romanlarında yapı ve izlek

Abstract

Çağdaş Türk edebiyatının son dönem temsilcilerinden biri olan Ömer F. Oyal çok yönlü kişiliği ile dikkat çeken bir yazardır. Roman ve inceleme türünde eserler veren Oyal, romancı yönüyle ön plana çıkmış ve romanları çerçevesinde incelemeye tabi tutulmuştur. Bireyi ele alarak aslında toplum gerçeklerini ve özellikle modern hayatın getirdiği sorunlar ile bireylerde ortaya çıkan duygusal değişimleri ele alarak toplumsal bir görev üstlenmektedir. Öte yandan Oyal, romanlarının kurgusunu yaparken geçmişte yaşanmış olaylardan yola çıkar. Tarihî gerçekler Oyal’ın gözünden kurgulanır. Geçmişe bir yolculuk yapılır. Yazar, romanlarında söylemek istediklerini karakterler üzerinden verir. Romanlarını gerçek hayattan kopmadan ve toplumun değişim ile gelişimini göz önünde bulundurarak kaleme alır. Bu toplumsal değişimin bireyler üzerindeki etkisini canlı bir şekilde yansıtır. Yazarın asıl anlatmak istediği birey değil, toplumdur. Toplumu anlatmak için de önce toplumu oluşturan bireyleri anlatarak işe başlar. Yazar ayrıca mekânın kişiler üzerindeki etkisini de gözler önüne serer. Bu çalışmanın ilk bölümünde Ömer F.Oyal’ın hayatı, sanatı, eserleri incelenmiş; ikinci bölümde çağdaş roman ve postmodern roman açıklanmış ve son bölümde de Ömer F.Oyal’ın kaleme aldığı sekiz romanı “Romanlarda Yapı ve İzlek” ana başlığı altında, bu ana başlıklar da alt başlıklara ayrılarak incelenmiştir. Romanlardaki yapı unsurları ve izleksek kavramlar her roman için ayrı ayrı ele alınmıştır. Böylelikle günümüz insanının ve modern hayatın getirdikleri ile yazarın vermek istediği mesajlar üzerine tespitler yapılmıştır. Yazarla yapılan röportaj ekte yer almıştır.

Omer F. Oyal, one of the representatives of the last period of contemporary Turkish literature, is a remarkable writer with his versatile personality. Oyal, who produces novels and studies, has come to the forefront with his novelist aspect and has been examined within the framework of his novels. By addressing the individual, it actually undertakes a social task by addressing the realities of society and especially the problems brought by modern life and the emotional changes that occur in individuals. On the other hand, while editing his novels, Oyal starts from the events of the past. Historical facts are constructed through Oyal's eyes. A journey into the past is made. The author gives what he wants to say in his novels through the characters. He writes his novels without breaking away from real life and taking into account the change and development of society. It vividly reflects the impact of this social change on individuals. What the author really wants to tell is not the individual, but the society. In order to explain the society, it first starts by describing the individuals who make up the society. The author also reveals the effect of space on people. In the first part of this study, the life, art and works of Ömer F. Oyal were examined; In the second part, the contemporary novel and the postmodern novel are explained,and in the last part, eight novels written by Ömer F. Oyal are examined under the main title of "Structure and Theme in Novels", and these main titles are divided into sub-titles. The structural elements and thematic concepts in the novels are handled separately for each novel. In this way, determinations have been made on the messages that today's people and modern life bring and the messages that the author wants to give. The interview with the author is attached.
