Abstract: In a 2016 study encompassing four different regions and nine different localities on Ngazidja Island, ten myxomycete species were identified representing five genera: Arcyria (1 sp.), Badhamia (1 sp.), Diderma (1 sp.), Didymium (4 spp.), and Physarum (3 spp.). Artocarpus heterophyllus, the most productive substrate plant, yielded four myxomycete species, followed by Ricinus commons with two. The study methods and results of this research are outlined and accompanied by notes, comments, and microscopic images for selected species.
