Hastanelerde yürütülen manevi danışmanlık ve rehberlik hizmetlerinde problem ve beklentiler

Abstract

Ülkemizde hastanelerde yürütülen Manevi Danışmanlık ve Rehberlik hizmetlerinde yaşanılan problemleri incelemek ve bu problemlere ilişkin çözüm önerileri sunmak, ayrıca muhatap kitlenin (manevi danışman, hasta ve sağlık personeli) hizmete ilişkin beklentilerini ortaya koymayı hedeflediğimiz bu araştırma, durum çalışması deseninde nitel araştırma yöntemi kullanılarak gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışmanın örneklemini 18manevi danışman, 20 sağlık personeli ve 10 hasta olmak üzere Ankara, Bolu, Bursa, Gaziantep, Konya Kütahya, Malatya ve Sakarya illerinden toplam 48 katılımcı oluşturmaktadır. Nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden görüşme tekniğinin kullanıldığı çalışmada veri toplama aracı olarak yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu kullanılmıştır. Verilerin değerlendirilmesinde MAXQDA22 nitel veri araştırma programı kullanılarak kategorik içerik analizine başvurulmuştur. Araştırma sonucunda hastanelerde yürütülen Manevi Danışmanlık ve Rehberlik hizmetlerinde manevi danışmanların eğitim düzeylerinin yetersiz olması, hizmete kaynak teşkil edecek sistemsel (kaynak, program, müfredat vb.), kurumsal (statü, özlük hakları, kadro, vb.), fiziksel (MDR’ye ait oda vb.) anlamda birtakım sorunların bulunması, tanıtımların yeterli olmaması ve denetim mekanizmasının bulunmaması gibi çeşitli problemler ile karşılaşılsa da tüm paydaşların (manevi danışman, sağlık personeli, hasta)hastanelerde yürütülen Manevi Danışmanlık ve Rehberlik hizmetlerinin işlevsel ve gerekli bir ihtiyaç olduğu düşüncesine sahip oldukları tespit edilmiştir.

In this research, which was carried out using the qualitative research method in the case study design, it is aimed to examine the problems experienced in the Spiritual Counseling and Guidance services carried out in hospitals in our country and to offer solutions for these problems, as well as to reveal the expectations of the addressee group (spiritual counselors, patients and health personnel). The sample of the study consists of 18 spiritual counselors, 20 health personnel and 10 patients, a total of 48 participants from the provinces of Ankara, Bolu, Bursa, Gaziantep, Konya, Kütahya, Malatya and Sakarya. In the study in which interview technique, one of the qualitative research methods, was used, a semi-structured interview form was used as a data collection tool. In the evaluation of the data, categorical content analysis was applied using the MAXQDA22 qualitative data research program. As a result of the research, it was determined that all stakeholders (spiritual counsellors, health personnel, patients) have the opinion that Spiritual Counselling and Guidance services carried out in hospitals are a functional and necessary need, although there are various problems such as inadequate education levels of spiritual counsellors in Spiritual Counselling and Guidance services carried out in hospitals, systemic (resource, program, curriculum, etc.), institutional (status, personal rights, staff, etc.), physical (lack of personal rooms for spiritual councelers) problems, insufficient publicity and lack of supervision mechanism.
