Bursa ilinde şeftali üretiminin ekonometrik analizi

Abstract

Bu çalışmada şeftali üretim girdilerinin kullanım seviyesinin ve kaynak etkinliğinin saptanması amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma bölgesi Bursa ilini kapsamaktadır. 2009 yılı verilerine göre yılda ortalama 410 bin tonluk üretim ve 10 bin tonluk ihracat değeri ile şeftali ülkemiz ekonomisinde önemli bir yere sahiptir. Üretim ve dışsatım bakımından başta Bursa ili olmak üzere Marmara Bölgesi lider konumundadır. Araştırma bölgesinde 30 tarım işletmesi incelenmiş ve toplanan veriler Cobb-Douglas üretim fonksiyonu yardımı ile analiz edilmiştir. İncelenen değişkenler arasında gübre harcamaları ile diğer faktörler arasındaki ilişkilerin nispeten yüksek olduğu görülmüştür. Gübre ve sulama harcamaları birbirini olumsuz etkilerken, sulama ve işçilik harcamaları pozitif yönde birbirlerini etkilemektedirler. Buna göre, sulama harcamalarında işçilik masraflarının büyük yer tuttuğunu söyleyebiliriz. Üretim faktörleri arasındaki marjinal teknik ikame hadleri incelendiğinde gübre faktörünün diğer faktörlere oranla aşırı kullanıldığı, sulama faktörünün de ilaç ve işçilik faktörlerine oranla aşırı kullanıldığı ortaya çıkmaktadır. İşçilik faktörü ise, ilaç faktörüne oranla aşırı kullanılmaktadır. Ekonomik optimuma ulaşabilmek için, arazi genişliği değişmese bile, ilaç ve işçilik kullanımının optimuma kadar artırılması gerekmektedir.

In this study it is aimed to determine the usage level and resource efficiency of peach production inputs. Research area includes Bursa province. According to data from the year 2009, peaches with the 410 thousand ton production value, 10 thousand ton export value has an importance place in our country’s economy. Marmara Region (first place to Bursa) is leading in terms of production and export. In the research area, 30 agricultural organizations were examined and the gathered data is analyzed with the help of Cobb-Douglas production function. It was determined that, between the examined variables, the relations between fertilizer expenses and the other factors are relatively high. While fertilizer and irrigation expenses affect each other negatively, irrigation and labor expenses affect each other positively. According to this, it can be said that labor expenses takes a large place in irrigation expenses. When the marginal rate of technical substitution between production factors is examined it appears that fertilizer factor is used excessively relative to the other factors and irrigation factor is overused relative to labor and pesticides factors. In order to achieve economic optimum, even though the land scope stays the same, it is needed to increase pesticide and labor utilization to optimum.
