Giovanni Arrighi ve kapitalist dünya ekonomisi

Abstract

Bu tezde, ilk olarak dünya sistemi-modern dünya sistemi tartışması yapılacaktır. Bu tartışma içerisinde kapitalist dünya ekonomisinin temel özellikleri incelenecek ve bu özellikler dünya sistemi-modern dünya sistemi tartışması içerisinde değerlendirilecektir. Bu tartışmadan sonra Arrighi çerçevesinde kapitalist dünya ekonomisinin tarihsel gelişimi ele alınacaktır. Bu bağlamda sermaye birikiminin, merkez çevre ilişkisinin, hegemonyanın, maddi-mali genişleme aşamalarının kapitalist dünya ekonomisi ile ilişkisi incelenecektir. Ayrıca hegemonik dönüşümün nedenleri ve bu nedenlerin nasıl oluştuğu sorularına Arrighi kontekstinde yanıt aranacaktır. Bu doğrultuda yeni kapitalist düzendeki hegemonik aday olan Çin incelenecektir. Bu tezde ayrıca, kapitalist sistemin tarihsel süreç içerisindeki bunalımları, bunalımın nedenleri ve bunalımlar sonucu ortaya çıkan sistem karşıtı hareketlerin "özgürlük" mücadelesi incelenecektir. Böylece kapitalist dünya ekonomisinin tarihsel gelişimi yanısıra, kapitalist sistemin bugünü ve yarını üzerine bir değerlendirme yapılacaktır.

In this thesis, firstly, debate of world system-modern world system will be made. Within this discussing, basic proporties of the capitalist world economy will be examined, and these proporties will be assessed within debate of world system-modern world system. After this discussing, historical development of capitalist world economy will be dealt with in the Arrighi's context. In this sense, relationship with capitalist world economy of capital accumulation, core-periphery relationship, hegemony, stages of material- fiscal expansion will be examined. Besides, causes of hegemonic transformation and questions of how these causes are consist will be sought to answer in the context of Arrighi. China which is hegemonic candidate in the new capitalist system will be analysed in this direction. In this thesis, besides, crisis of capitalist system in the historical process, causes of crisis, struggle for freedom anti-systemic movements which is generated as result of crisis will be investigated. Thus, assessment about today and future of capitalist system as well as historical progress of capitalist world economy will be made.
