Farklı ülkelerde okul öncesi öğrencilerine yönelik çevre eğitimi

Abstract

Bu çalışma ile, Türk Millû Eğitim sistemi içinde halen uygulanmakta olan okulöncesi eğitim programı kapsamında yer alan çevre eğitimine yönelik etkinliklerleKanada, Amerika, sviçre, Almanya ve Japonya eğitim sistemleri içinde uygulanmaktaolan okul öncesi eğitim programları kapsamında yer alan çevre eğitimine yöneliketkinlikler karşılaştırılmaya çalışılmıştır.Bu tez çalışması üç bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölümde çevre olgusununtanımlanması yapıldıktan sonra çevre kapsamı incelenmiş, çevre sorunlarına ve busorunlar karşısında uluslar arası boyutta yapılan çalışmalara, konferanslara ve alınankararlara yer verilmiştir. Ayrıca, çevre eğitimi ve okul öncesi eğitim olgularının temelözellikleri ve gelişimlerine değinilerek çevre ve okul öncesi eğitim arasında ilişkikurulmaya çalışılmıştır. kinci bölümde yöntem açıklanmış ve Türkiye, Kanada, Amerika,sviçre, Almanya ve Japonya' nın okul öncesi eğitim programları kapsamında yer alançevre eğitimine yönelik hedef ve etkinliklere yer verilmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde ise;her birülkenin programı tek tek Türkiye' nin okul öncesi eğitim programı ile karşılaştırmayaçalışılmıştır. Sonuç bölümünde ise Türkiye' nin okul öncesi eğitim programına yönelikgenel bir değerlendirme yapılmış ve öneriler sunulmaya çalışılmıştır.

The study named as “Environmental Education for Preschool and Elementary Students in Different Countries” is prepared by İdil AKÇAY with the direction of Doç. Dr. Handan Asûde BAŞAL as a master thesis. With this study, the environmental education activities existing in the Preschool Education Program that is still being appllied in Turkish National Education System are tried to be compared with the environmental education activities existing in the Preschool Education Program that is still being appllied in Canada, United States of America, Switzerland, Germany and Japan. This study is composed of three chapters. In the first chapter the definition of environment is made and after the composition of environment is being studied, the environmental problems and the internatinal studies, conferences and the decisions taken against these environmental problems are defined. Besides; the improvement and the basic principles of preschool and environmental education are defined and tried to relate preschool education and environmental education. In the second chapter, the method is explained and the activities and aims of environmental education existing in the preschool programmes of Turkey, Canada, United States of America, Switzerland, Germany and Japan are defined. In the third chapter, each individual preschool program of Canada, United States of America, Switzerland, Germany and Japan is tried to be compared with the preschool program of Turkey. In the conclusion chapter a general evaluation about Turkish preschool program is made and is tried to present some suggestions.
