Aristoteles, İbn Sina ve Thomas Aquinas'ın "Peri Hermeneias"ları ("yorum üzerine"leri): Karşılaştırmalı bir değerlendirme

Abstract

Aristoteles gibi büyük bir zekâ yüzyıllar boyu dünyayı etkilemiş ve eserleri tartışılmıştır. Ortaya çıkarmış olduğu yorumcular geleneği Peripatetikler olarak adlandırılmıştır. Mantığı ve felsefesinin iç içe geçmiş olduğu bu çalışmayla da bir kez daha açığa çıkmaktadır. Binlerce yıl önce söylenmiş olan sözlerin nasıl olup da hala taze kaldığı ve bugün de geçerli olduğu insanı şaşırtmaktadır. Yorum Üzerine Aristoteles'in Organon eserleri arasında kıyas kuramına geçişi sağlayan önemli bir temel çalışmadır. Doğurmuş olduğu tartışmalarla beraber eserin değerlendirilmesi iki yorumcu özelinde ele alınarak yapılacaktır. İslam dünyasından İbn Sina ve Batı dünyasından Thomas Aquinas Peripatetik geleneğin iki önemli ismi olarak seçilmiştir. Bu tezde amaçlanan Aristotelesçi mantık geleneğinin etkileşimli bir çizgiyi izlediğini ortaya koymak ve günümüz bakış açısıyla da tıpkı diğer iki yorumcunun yaptığı gibi bu eserin bir yorumunu yapmaktır. Bunun için öncelikle bir ön hazırlık olması nedeniyle ilk bölümde Aristoteles öncesinden Thomas Aquinas'a dek uzanan bir mantık tarihi yazılmıştır. Diğer dört bölüm ise asıl eserin bölümlerinin konu bütünlüğüne göre ayrılarak üç bakış açısından yorumlanmasından ve değerlendirilmesinden oluşmaktadır.

"On Interpretatione" as providing access to the theories of syllogism is an important basic text between Aristotle's Organon works. Evaluation of the work that will be done together with the discussion engendered by considering two special commentators. Avicenna from the Islamic world and Thomas Aquinas from the Western world both of two as a Peripatetic were chosen as the two most prominent figures. This thesis is intended to follow a line of interactive logic of Aristotelian tradition and put it out just as did the other two commentators make the point of view of a contemporary interpretation of this work. For this reason, it is primarily a written history of logic dating back to Aristotle reach up to Thomas Aquinas at the first chapter because it is a preparation. The other four sections divided according to the chapters of the work that consists of the issue and from three perspectives interpretation and evaluation will be done.
