Ebû Hâtim er-Râzî ve Kitâbu'z-Zîne adlı eserinin Arap anlambilim tarihindeki yeri ve önemi

Abstract

Arap anlambilimi alanında çalışmalar yapan Ebû Hâtim Ahmed b. Hamdân er-Râzî (322/933-34), Arap dilbilimcilerinden birisi olarak bilinir. O, hicrî IV. asırdaki hem akla hem de nakle dayanan bütün ilimlerin geliştiği ve olgunlaştığı bir dönemde yaşamıştır. Arap dili ve edebiyatı açısından önemli olan Ebu Hatim'in yaşadığı bu dönemdeki dilsel çalışmalar, aynı zamanda felsefî bir içerik kazanmıştır. Çalışmanın konusu olan Ebû Hâtim'in "Kitâbu'z-Zîne" adlı eseri de, Arap anlambilim çalışması açısından bir zemin teşkil etmektedir. Tezin giriş bölümünde, anlambilim hakkında genel bilgilere yer ve-rilmiştir. Daha sonra ise birinci bölümde, Ebû Hâtim'in eserinde yer alan dilbilimle ilgi-li genel bilgilerden bahsedilmiştir. Onun eserindeki kelimelerin tarihsel gelişimlerinin irdelendiği bu tezin temel kısmını oluşturan ikinci bölümde de Ebû Hâtim'in özellikle Arap anlambilimindeki önemi ortaya konmuştur. Ayrıca tezde, Ebû Hâtim'in eserindeki anlambilim konularının içerik olarak Arap semantiğindeki konumuna da değinilmiştir. Bu tezden elde edilen bulgulara göre her ne kadar anlambilim dil çalışmalarında yeni bir alan olsa da, Arap anlambiliminin temellerini hicri IV. yüzyıla kadar dayandırmanın mümkün olduğu görülmüştür. Böylece çalışma, gelecek nesil araştırmacıları için Arap anlambiliminin tarihsel kökeni hakkında önemli veriler sunmaktadır.

Abû Hâtim Ahmad b. Hamdân Al-Râzî (322/934-35), worked in the field of Arabic semantics, known as one of the greatest Arabic linguists. He lived during the period when is developing and maturing of the sciences that are based on both of aql (reasoning) and naql (evidences) in the 4th Hijri Century. The linguistic studies in Ebu Hatim's the period of life, the important in terms of Arabic language and literature, have also received a philosophical content. Abu Hatim's titled book "Kitab Al-Zeenah" that is the subject of the thesis provides a foundation for the study of Arabic semantics. A number of information about the semantics has been given in the introduction section of the thesis. Afterwards, it has been mentioned about the general informations regarding linguistic in Ebu Hatim's book entitled 'Kitab Al-Zeenah' in the first chapter of the thesis. Ebu Hatim's importance of Arabic semantic in particular has been demonstrated in the second chapter of the thesis that are analyzed the historical developments of the words in his book. In addition, it has been contently addressed that the position of the semantic subjects of Ebu Hatim's book in the thesis. According to the findings which are obtained from this thesis, it has been determined that the foundations of Arabic semantics can be based until the 4th Hijri Century, even though the semantics a new field in the language studies. Thus, this study provides important data about the historical origins of the Arabic semantics for next generation researchers.
