Eğitim enstitülerinin öğretim programları

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, Türkiye’de ortaokula öğretmen yetiştirmede önemli bir kurum olan eğitim enstitülerinin öğretim programlarının ve ders içeriklerinin ortaya konulması amaçlanmıştır. Çalışmada, çeşitli kaynaklar kullanılarak doküman analizi yapılmıştır. Yapılan analiz sonucunda, eğitim enstitülerinin kuruluşu, gelişimi, öğretim programları ve ders içerikleri ortaya konulmuştur. Eğitim enstitüleri ile ilgili atılan ilk adım 1926-1927 yılında Gazi Eğitim Enstitüsü “Orta Muallim Mektebi“ adıyla açılmasıdır. Bunun yanında öğretmen yetiştiren yeni kurumlar da açılmıştır. 1944 yılında Balıkesir Öğretmen Okulunda Necati Eğitim Enstitüsü ve Orta Öğretmen Okulu açılmıştır. Bu tarihten itibaren ülkedeki eğitim enstitüleri sayısı çoğalmıştır. Özellikle bu çalışmada, 1946 yılı sonrasında açılmasına karar verilen eğitim enstitülerinin programlarının ve ders içeriklerinin nasıl tasarlandığı ve uygulandığı açıklanmaya çalışılmıştır. vii 1967-1968 eğitim-öğretim döneminde eğitim enstitülerindeki tüm bölümlerin süresi üç yıla çıkarılmıştır. Sınıf öğretmeni yetiştirmek üzere iki yıllık olarak enstitülerin açılmaya başlanmasından sonra ortaokula öğretmen yetiştiren enstitülere üç yıllık eğitim enstitüleri denmeye başlanmıştır. Ancak daha sonraki yıllarda bazı bölümlerin süresi dört yıla çıkarılmıştır. Eğitim enstitüleri 1980 yılında Yüksek Öğretmen Okulları’na dönüştürülmüştür. 1982 yılında ise ülkedeki tüm eğitim enstitüleri ‘Eğitim Fakültesi’ olarak devam etmiştir.

The present study aims to investigate the curriculum and course contents of Educatıon Instıtute an important institution in training middle school teachers in Turkey’s history education. The first step towards education institutes was the opening of the Gazi Education Institute in 1926-1927 with the name “Middle Teacher School“. Besides new institutions that train teachers were also opened. In 1944, the Necati Education Institute and the Middle School of Teachers were opened in Balıkesir Teacher's School. As of this date, the number of education institutes in the country has increased. Especially in this study, aims to how the programs and course contents of the educational institutes that were decided to be opened after 1946 were designed and implemented. ix Since the duration of all departments in the education institutes was increased to three years in the 1967-1968 academic year, this school was named as the three-year Education Institutes. However, in later years, the duration of some departments was extended to four years. Educational institutes were turned into Higher Teacher Schools in 1980. In 1982, all education institutes in the country continued as Faculty of Education.
