Hizmet alanlar açısından, sosyal bir statü olarak eğitimde rehberlik ve psikolojik danışma: Bursa örneği

Abstract

Bu araştırma, Rehberlik ve Psikolojik Danışmanlık mesleğinin başlangıcından günümüze meslekleşme sürecini, eğitimle ilişkisini, geleneksel eğitim anlayışıyla günümüzdeki modern eğitim anlayışı arasındaki temel farklar çerçevesinde ilerleyişini, Türkiye'de ve dünyadaki gelişimini farklılıkları temel alarak inceleyen ve PDR mesleğinin Türkiye'de nasıl algılandığı ve kendisine nerede yer bulduğunu araştıran eğitim felsefesi ve eğitim sosyolojisi temelli bir çalışmadır.Bu çalışmada bir mülakat örneği ile tamamlamaya giriştiğim süreçte, Bursa ili Nilüfer ilçesi Görükle Çok Programlı Lisesi'nde PDR hizmetlerinden yararlanan öğrenci, öğretmen ve velilerin düşüncelerinden yola çıkılarak, PDR mesleğinin Türk toplumunda ne kadar tanındığı ve kabul edildiği, diğer mesleklere göre konumu ve mesleğin önemi ölçüsünde sosyo-ekonomik getirisi olup olmadığı gözlenmek ve gösterilmek istenmiştir.Birinci bölümde rehberlik kavramı ve hizmet alanları, eğitim ve rehberlik, rehberlik ve psikolojik danışma arasındaki ilişki, profesyonel bir uğraş olarak PDR ve PDR'de unvan sorunu sosyolojik bir bakış açısıyla analiz edilmeye çalışılmıştır. İkinci bölümde PDR'nin ABD, Avrupa ve Türkiye'deki tarihsel gelişimi ve karşılaştırılması, PDR mesleğinin ülkemizdeki durumu, geleceği ve bu konuda yapılmış diğer alan araştırmalarına yer verilmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde araştırmanın uygulama kısmı yer almıştır. Araştırmanın örneklemi 10 öğretmen, 30 öğrenci ve 10 öğrenci velisi olmak üzere toplam 50 kişiden oluşmaktadır. Araştırmada bilgi toplama aracı olarak 15 sorudan oluşan derinlemesine görüşme formu hazırlanarak uygulanmıştır.Araştırmanın literatür incelemesinde, eğitimde önemli bir rolü ve fonksiyonu olan PDR'nin Türkiye'de hedeflenen düzeye ulaşamadığı, profesyonel bir alan olarak ABD'ye kıyasla gelişme gösteremediği görülmektedir. Araştırmada da, PDR mesleğinin özellikle öğretmenler tarafından, önemi ölçüsünde sosyo-ekonomik getirisi olmayan bir meslek olarak görüldüğü bulgulara ulaşılmıştır.

his research is an educational philosophy and educational sociology based study; which examines the process of Psychological Counseling and Guidances being a profession from its beginning until today, its relationship with education, its progress within the scope of basic differences between the traditional and the contemporary education mentality, its development in Turkey and in the other countries on the base of differences and searches how PDR has been perceived and where it has been placed in Turkey .In this research; it is aimed to observe and express in what level PDR as a profession is recognized and approved in Turkish society, its place with respect to other professions and whether it has a socio-economic return in the means of its importance by being in a process of interviewing example, with the students, teachers and parents who have PDR service at Görükle Multi Programmed Vocational High School, in Nilüfer, one of the towns of Bursa city, Turkey.In the first chapter the concept of guidance and its service fields, education and guidance, relationship between psychological counseling and guidance, PDR as a professional field of occupation and title issue are analyzed with a sociological perspective. In the second chapter, the historical development and comparison of PDR in USA, Europe and Turkey; the status and future of PDR as a profession in Turkey and other related studies about that field are mentioned respectively. In the third chapter; the practice part of the research takes place. The sample of the research consists of 50 people in total; 10 teachers, 30 students and 10 parents. A thorough interview form containing 15 questions is used as a tool in order to gather information.For the literature research of the study; it can be said that PDR having an important role and function in education has not reached the expected level in Turkey and has not developed enough as a professional field as compared to USA. In the study; there are findings showing that PDR is considered as a profession with a low socio-economic income, especially by the teachers.
