Bir otomotiv firmasında yalın üretim odaklı montaj hattı iyileştirme çalışmaları

Abstract

Yalın üretim, israfa yol açan üretimdeki tüm aktivitelerin yok edilmesi, katma değer yaratan aktivitelerin arttırılması işlemidir. Yalın üretim bir süreç işidir, uzun zaman alır ve sürekli çaba gerektirir. Fakat yalın üretim ile birlikte kısıtlı kaynaklarla en iyi optimum çıktılar elde edilir. Bu sebeple bu çalışmada yalın üretim sistemi ve yalın üretim sistemlerinden biri olan WCM (World Class Manufacturing) metodolojisi tercih edilmiştir. İşletmeler, varlığını sürdürebilmek, pazarda rakipleri ile mücadele edebilmek ve sahip oldukları kaynakları optimum biçimde kullanmak zorundadırlar. Bu yüzden yapılan bu tez çalışmasında, bir otomotiv firmasında üretimin israflardan arındırılarak, montaj hattı iyileştirme çalışmalarına yer verilmektedir. Ayrıca bu çalışmada, World Class Manufacturing (WCM), Workplace Organization (WO) aktiviteleri ile katma değer oluşturmayan iş adımları elimine edilmeye çalışılarak, montaj hattı iyileştirme problemine farklı bir bakış açısı oluşturulmuştur.

Lean production is the process of eliminating all activities in production that cause waste, and increasing the activities that create added value. Lean manufacturing is a process of work, it takes a long time and requires constant effort. However, thanks to lean manufacturing, optimum outputs are obtained with limited resources. For this reason, lean production system and WCM (World Class Manufacturing) methodology which is one of lean manufacturing system has been preferred in this study. Companies have to be able to survive, have to be able to struggle with their competitors in the market and have to use their resources in an optimum way. For this reason, in this thesis, assembly line improvement works are included in an automotive company by eliminating waste from production. In addition, in this study, a different point of view has been created for the assembly line improvement problem by trying to eliminate the work steps that do not create added value with World Class Manufacturing (WCM), Workplace Organization (WO) activities.
