Tarihte ilk resmî mevlid merasimleri

Abstract

Hz. Muhammed'in doğum yıldönümlerinde yapılan merasimlerin ortaya çıkı­ şında gerçek sebep, müslümanların peygamberine duyduğu engin sevgi ve bağlılık­ larıdır. Bu merasimlerin resmî mahiyet kazandığı devir Fatımller dönemi olup mera­ simleri bugünkü şekliyle ilk tertip eden de Muzafferuddin Gökböri'dir. Mevlid mera­ simlerinin yaygınlaşması dolayısıyla yazılan pek çok mevlid kitabının arasında, en çok sevilen ve tutulanı Süleyman Çelebi'nin yazdığı "Vesiletü'n-Necât" adlı eser olmuştur.

Among these, the mavlid ümitten by Suleiman Cheleby (Süleyman Çelebi) with the name of "Vasîla al-Nacât" is the best loved, known and most appreciated one by the Turkish people today.
