Felsefenin özünden felsefenin felsefesine: Dilthey’da bir dünya görüşü öğretisi olarak felsefe

Abstract

Bir metafizik olarak gelişen geleneksel felsefenin özcü ve evrenselci yapısının, insanın bilinçli ve amaçlı dünya tecrübesini anlama noktasında tümüyle işlevsiz kaldığını düşünen Alman filozof Wilhelm Dilthey, insanın tarihsel ve kültürel tekilliğini verecek olan bir anlama yöntemi geliştirmek ister. Dilthey bu sebeple her şeyden önce geleneksel metafiziğin çıkmazını göstermek durumundadır. Ona göre geleneksel felsefenin, evrensel bir hakikate ulaşma ideali, tarihselliğin üstesinden gelinemez önceliği sebebiyle hayata geçirilemez bir proje olarak ortaya çıkar. Dahası Dilthey geleneksel felsefenin yalnızca tarihsel ve kültürel bağlama ait olan bir Dünya Görüşü meydana getirdiği görüşündedir. Eğer metafizik bu şekilde, yaşamı yalnızca bir yönüyle sunabilen bir Dünya Görüşü olarak ortaya çıkıyorsa o halde metafizik yönelim, insanın araştırılmak ve anlaşılmak durumunda olan tekil bir kültürel yaşantısına dönüşmektedir. İşte bu yolla felsefe Dilthey’ın kavrayışında bir metafelsefeye dönüşmektedir. Zira Dilthey geleneksel felsefeyi, incelenmesi gereken bir Dünya Görüşü olarak ileri sürerek aslında bir felsefenin felsefesini gerçekleştirmek ister. Bu çalışma Dilthey'ın geleneksel felsefe eleştirisini değerlendirmeyi ve onun tarafından ortaya konulan bir metafelsefenin olanağını incelemeyi amaçlamaktadır.

German philosopher Wilhelm Dilthey, who thinks that the essentialist and universalist structure of traditional philosophy which was developed as a metaphysics is completely dysfunctional in understanding the conscious and purposeful world experience of man wants to develop a method of understanding that will give the historical and cultural singularity of human. For this reason, Dilthey must first of all demonstrate the impasse of traditional metaphysics. According to him, the ideal of traditional philosophy to reach a universal truth emerges as an unrealizable project due to the irrevocable priority of historicism. Moreover, Dilthey asserts that traditional philosophy constitutes a Worldview that belongs only to the historical and cultural context. If metaphysics emerges in this way as a Worldview that can present life with only one aspect, then the metaphysical orientation itself turns into a singular cultural lived-experience that has to be researched and understood. In this way, philosophy turns into a metaphilosophy in Dilthey's conception. For Dilthey is trying to achieve a philosophy of philosophy by putting forward traditional philosophy as a Worldview that needs to be studied. The present study aims to evaluate Dilthey’s criticism of traditional philosophy and to examine the possibility of a metaphilosophy put forword by him.
