Cumhuriyet dönemi sosyo-kültürel değişim üzerinde Türk aydınının etkisi (İsmail Hakkı Tonguç örneği)

Abstract

Köy Enstitüleri, Cumhuriyet’in modernleşme ve eğitim politikalarının en özgün örneklerindendir. Cumhuriyet projesinin ve onun felsefesinin toplumla buluşması ve mesleki ve niteliksel anlamda eğitimli yurttaşlar yetiştirilmesi konusunda önemli katkıları olan Köy Enstitülerine ilişkin birçok inceleme ve değerlendirme yapılmıştır. Çoğunlukla kapatılması bir hata olarak görülen köy enstitülerine, ilgili dönemde birçok aydın, fikirleri ve projeleri ile katkıda bulunmuştur. Bu aydınlardan biri de, bu çalışmada incelediğimiz gibi İsmail Hakkı Tonguçtur.

Village Institutions is one of the most distinctive representative of modernization and education of the Republic of Turkey. There are many observations and assessments about the Village Institutions, which provided great contribution for educating the citizens qualitatively and quantitatively. They also helped the government meet the Republic's targets and philosophy together with Turkey's people. Along this period many intellectuals contributed to the Village Institutions, whose abolishment was accepted as a mistake, by means of their opinions and projects. One of these intellectuals is İsmail Hakkı Tonguç, as is indicated in this study.
