İslam kaynaklarına göre fizyonomi ve eğitim ilişkisi

Abstract

Günümüzde bilinen adıyla fizyonomi ilminin yüzyıllardır uygulanan kullanım alanlarının yanı sıra en çok eğitimde kullanılması önem arz etmektedir. Bu amaçla eğitim alanında bir boşluğun doldurulması ve yeni bir bakış açısı oluşması sağlanacaktır. Dünyada yazılan eserlerin eski ve yeni kaynaklarla beraber çokluğu sebebiyle sadece İslam kaynaklarından yararlanılmıştır. Nitekim, Kur'an-ı Kerim'de İsra Sûresi 84. ayette "Herkes kendi şâkilesine göre amel eder" ifadesi ile de insana yüklenen kodların bulunması ve kendini tanıması gereklidir. Fizyonomi ilminin esas amacı da bireyi tanımaktır. Eğitimde de bireyin farkındalığını oluşturarak ilim sahibi olması amaçlandığından tam bir uyum içindedir. Eğitim, özellikle ebeveyn ve öğretmenlerin yönlendirmesiyle şekillendiğinden fizyonomi ilmi önemli bir yol göstericidir. Bu ilim, kişinin doğumundan itibaren yaşam sürecinde rol oynar. Bireyin mevcut potansiyeline göre davranmak, eğitim tarzını buna göre şekillendirmek, kişinin özelliklerine uygun bir yol çizmek, bireyin kabiliyetlerini zaman kaybetmeden keşfetmek, yaşam mücadelesi için haritasını tayin etmek, beklentileri sınırlandırmak veya genişletmek gibi birçok amaca hizmet etmek, fizyonomi ve eğitimin ilişkilendirilmesi sonucu olacaktır.

The science of physiognomy which is currently known by this name has a great importance as it has been mostly used in the field of education along with other fields for centuries. In this respect, it is aimed to provide a new point of view and fill a gap in the field of education. Since there are lots of written old and new works available today, only Islamic works have been taken into consideration. Hence, in Quran the Israelites Sure 84. Verse says ''Everyone acts according to his own disposition.'' ,so the codes given to human beings have to be decrypted in order forself-recognition. The main objective of physiognomy is to recognize the individual. In education also it is aimed to give knowledge by creating self awareness. So, they are in fully compliance. The science of physiognomy is a crucial guide as the education is given particularly by teachers and parents. This set of knowledge plays its role with the birth of an individual and covers individual's whole life. Many objectives such as reacting according to the individual's existing potential, forming the style of training accordingly, building a suitable way for the person in accordance with characteristics, exploring the ability of the individual without delay, drawing the map for survival, limiting or expanding the expectations will be the result of physignomy and education association.
