İshalli ve sağlıklı buzağılarda campylobacter jejuni ve campylobacter coli prevalansı

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, 100 ishalli ve 100 sağlıklı buzağıdan alınan rektal svab örnekleri Campylobacter spp (C.jejuni/C.coli)'nin yönlinden incelendi. Campylobacter spp., 100 ishalli buzağının 21 'inden ve 100 sağlıklı buzağının 8'inden izole edildi. İshalli ve sağlıklı buzağılardan izole edilen 29 suşun, 23 (%79.31)'ü C.jejuni, 6 (%20.68)'sı C. coli olarak identifiye edildi. Campylobacter spp.'nin prevalansı bakımından ishalli ve sağlıklı buzağılar arasındaki fark önemli (p <0.01) bulundu.

In this study, rectal swab samples from 100 diarrheic calves and from ıoo healthy calves were examined for the presence of Campylobacter spp (C.jejuni/C coli). Campylobacter spp. were isolated from 21 of ıoo diarrheic calves and from 8 of 100 healthy calves. Of 29 strains isolated from diarrheic and healthy calves, 23 (79.3 1 %) were identifıed as C.jejuni and 6 (20.68 %) as C.coli. The difference between diarrheic and healthy calves in the prevalence of Campylobacter: spp was signifıcant (p<0.01)
