Dışa açıklık ile finansal gelişme arasındaki ilişki: Türkiye örneği

Abstract

1970’li yıllardan itibaren dünya ekonomisinde ekonomik faaliyetlerin artması ile birlikte finansal gelişme ülkeler için önemli bir konu haline gelmiştir. Uluslararası şoklardan etkilenmemek, sermaye verimliliğini ve ticaret hacmini arttırmak gibi sebeplerle daha fazla finansal araç ve hizmetlere ihtiyaç duyulmaktadır. Değişen ve gelişen dünyada her geçen gün teknolojik gelişmelerin etkisiyle birlikte gelişimine ivme kazandıran uluslararası ticaret ve finansal sistemler ekonomileri birbirleri ile bağımlı hale getirmiştir. Bu sebepledir ki 2000’li yıllardan itibaren finansal gelişme ve dışa açıklık konusu birçok akademik çalışmanın konusu olmuştur. Bu çalışmada finansal gelişme ve dışa açıklık kavramları açıklandıktan sonra Türkiye’deki finansal gelişme ve dışa açıklık ilişkisi ortaya konmaya çalışılmıştır.

Since the 1970s, financial development has become an important issue for countries wit h the increase of economic activities in the world economy. More financial instruments and servicesare needed forreasons such as not being affected by international shocks, increasing capital efficiency and trade volume. International trade and financial systems, which have acceleratedits development with theimpact of technological developments day by day, have made economies dependent on eachother in the changing and developing world. Forthisreason, theissue of financial development and openness has been the subject of many academic studies since 2000s. Once this work is described in terms of financial development and openness it has tried to present financial development and openness relations in Turkey.
