Felsefe, din ve ahlak ilişkisinin erdem kavramı çerçevesinde analizi

Abstract

Din ve ahlak ilişkisi geçmişten günümüze, daimî olarak tartışılan ve farklı farklı görüşler ortaya konulan bir konudur. Bu sebepledir ki sözünü ettiğimiz geniş kapsamlı konuyu erdem kavramı çerçevesine alarak inceledik. Zira erdem kavramı ahlâkî sistemlerde bazen araç bazen amaç olarak belirlenen önemli bir kavram olarak görülmüştür. Çalışmamızı erdem kavramı çerçevesine alarak şunu amaçladık: Din ahlak ilişkisinde ahlakın kaynağı akıl yani felsefî düşünce olduğunda nasıl bir ahlaki sistem ortaya çıkar ve ahlak din ile ilişkilendirildiğinde nasıl bir ahlakî sistem ortaya çıkar. Tarih boyunca oluşturulan erdem anlayışları üzerinden ahlakî sistem incelemesi yaptık. Birinci bölümde felsefî düşünce temelli ahlak sistemi oluşturan Sokrates, Platon, Aristoteles ve MacIntyre’ın erdem anlayışlarını açıkladık. İkinci bölümde din ahlak ilişkisine dair oluşturulan düşünceleri sıraladık ve Farabî, Gazali ve Thomas Aquinas’ın din ile ilişkilendirilmiş erdem anlayışlarını ortaya koyduk. Sonuç bölümünde ise din ile ilişkilendirilmiş ve ilişkilendirilmemiş ahlâkî sistemlerin değerlendirmesine yer verdik.

From past to present, the relationship between religion and ethics have been discussed permanently, and below this topic there have been revealed many opinions. This is why we examined far-reaching topic as we mentioned by taking into the frame of the virtue notion. Yet, the virtue notion seems important notion as either means or purpose in moral systems. By taking this work into the frame of the virtue notion, we aimed at: when the source of ethics becomes reason, in other words philosophical thought, in the relationship between religion and ethics, what sort of moral system shows up, and what sort of moral system shows up when ethics associates to religion. We made an moral system examination over understandings of virtue which have been formed throughout history. In the first chapter, we explained understanding of virtue of Socrates, Plato, Aristotle and MacIntyre whom formed the philosophical thought-based moral system. In the second chapter, we outlined the ideas of religious-moral relations and revealed the understanding of virtue of Farabî, Gazali and Thomas Aquinas associated with religion. In the conclusion part, we have included the evaluation of the related and unrelated moral systems associated with religion.
