Sait Faik Abasıyanık’ın Semaver adlı öykü kitabında uzam

Abstract

Çalışmanın amacı, Sait Faik Abasıyanık’ın Semaver adlı öykü kitabı içerisinde yer alıp uzam bildiren dil birimlerinin ortaya konması, bu dil birimleri arasında meydana gelen uzamsal ilişkilerin betimlenmesi ve uzamın veriliş biçimlerinin irdelenerek ortaya çıkan sonuçların bildirilmesidir. “Uzam nedir?” sorusunun cevabı aranarak çalışmanın giriş bölümünde, uzamın çeşitli bilim dallarınca yapılan tanımları üzerinde durulmuştur. Dilbilim, felsefe, coğrafya, antropoloji gibi pek çok bilimin çalışma konusu olan uzamın, ilişkili olduğu sözlüksel dil birimleri saptanarak bu dil birimlerinin tanımları yapılmıştır. Sonraki bölümlerde eser içerisinde yer alan uzam bildiren sözcükler saptanarak bu sözcükler arasındaki uzamsal ilişkiler betimlenmiştir. Uzamı betimlemeye yardımcı dil birimleri tespit edilerek uzamın genel özellikleri belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Sonuç bölümünde ise eser içerisindeki uzam bildiren sözcükler esas alınarak uzamın veriliş biçimleri, uzam belirten dil birimleri ve bu dil birimleri arasındaki ilişkilere dair sonuçlar ortaya konmuştur. Araştırma yöntemi olarak kaynak taramasına başvurulmuştur. Öykü kitabı içerisinde yer alan uzam bildiren sözcükler esas alınarak uzamın genel özellikleri ile ilgili belirli bir sonuca varılmaya çalışılmıştır. Çalışmanın evreni, Semaver adlı öykü kitabıdır. Örneklemi ise öykü kitabı içerisinde yer alan uzam bildiren dil birimleridir.

The aim of this study is to reveal the units of language which are included in the story book of Sait Faik Abasıyanık and named Semaver. The aim of this course is to describe the spatial relations between these language units and to explain the results of spatial relations. In the introductory part of the study, the definitions of space made by various disciplines are emphasized by searching the answer of the question “What is space?”. The lexical language units related to space, which is the subject of study of many sciences such as linguistics, philosophy, geography and anthropology, were identified and their definitions were made. In the following chapters, the spatial relationships between these words are described by identifying the words that indicate the space in the work. Language characteristics that help to describe space are determined and general characteristics of space are tried to be determined. In the conclusion part, on the basis of the words declaring the space in the work, the ways of giving space, the language units indicating the space and the relations between these language units are presented. Research method was used as a research method. It is tried to reach a certain conclusion about the general characteristics of space based on the words in the story book. The universe of the study is the story book called Semaver. The sample is the units of language in the story book.
