Feminist bir bakış açısıyla felsefe tarihi: Kayıp kadın filozoflar

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, felsefe tarihine feminist bir bakış açısı ile yönelerek, kadın filozofların neden felsefe tarihinde yeterince yer almadığı, yazılan felsefe tarihi kitaplarında neden çok az sayıda ya da hiç kadın filozoflarla karşılaşmadığımız sorunu araştırılmaya çalışılacaktır. Böylece bu çalışma ile felsefe tarihi yazımına ve felsefe tarihine bakışa feminist bir bakış açısı kazandırarak, mevcut felsefe tarihinin dışarıda bıraktığı kadın filozofların varlığının hatırlanmasında bir katkı sunmak hedeflenmiştir. Çalışma kapsamında literatür çalışması yapılmış kadın kavramını retrospektif olarak, tarihsel dönemler çerçevesinde incelemiştir. Devamında kadının tarihsel süreç içerisinde karşılaştığı sorunların tanımlaması yapılmış ve geçmişten günümüze tarihi bölümlere ayırarak her dönemin, adından söz ettirmeyi başaran kadın filozofları incelenmiştir. Son bölümde ise feminizm detaylı olarak ele almıştır.

In this study, considering the historical process of feminism, it is aimed to determine why women philosophers can not find enough place in history, the reasons and consequences of this scarcity. Within the scope of the study, a literature study was conducted and the concept of woman was analyzed retrospectively, by dividing it into parts in Ancient Greece, the Middle Ages and today. Afterwards, the problems faced by women in the historical process were defined and the women philosophers who managed to make a name for each period by dividing the history from the past to the present were examined. Afterwards, she dealt with the phenomenon of feminism in all its details. As a result of both the sources examined and the literature review, it was noted that in the history of philosophy, women were seen as a sexual object, a tool that serves at home, an exploited figure and a production tool, and that women who exhibited the opposite attitude and behavior were severely punished, however. Especially with the contribution of the feminism movements that started with the industrial revolution, women started to get the value they deserve to some extent, participated in business life, gained the right to vote and to be elected, and became entitled like men in inheritance law.
