Çocukluk dönemi pnömonileri

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, Bursa Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi çocuk kliniğine yatırılarak kabul edilen 53 bronkopnömoni vak'ası takdim edilmiştir. Bronkopnömoni çocukluk döneminde en önemli ölüm sebeplerinden birisidir. Ölümlerin çoğu hastaneye geç getirilmekten olmaktadır. İyi bir bakım, erken antimikrobial tedavi ile ölüm oranı azaltılabilir.

A retrospective study in 53 patients with bronchopneumonia who were admitted to the Department of Pediatrics of Bursa University Medical Faculty Hospital and a review of literature has been presented. Bronchopneumonia is one of the leading causes of childhood deaths in this country. Most of the fatalities occured in those who came to our hospital in the late stage of the disease. Mortality rate can be reduced with the early establishment of the antimicrobial treatment.
