Hipertiroidik olgularda tedavi öncesi ve tedavi sırasında lipoproteinlerin serum düzeylerinde oluşan değişiklikler ve bunların tiroid hormonları ile ilişkisi

Abstract

Hipotiroidili olgularda serum lipoprotein düzeylerinde görülen değişikliklerin hipertiroidi tedavisi sırasında düzelmeleri ve bunların serum tiroid hormon düzeyleri ile ilişkileri 42 hipertiroidik (31 ka dın, 11 erkek) olgunun tedavi öncesi, tedavinin (propylthiouracil tablet 150·300 mg/gün) birinci ve ikinci ayı sonunda, serum total trüyodotironin (t-T3 ), total tiroksin (t-T4), serbet tiroksin (s-T4), total kolesterol (t-chl), trigliserid (TG), yüksek dansiteli kolesterol (HDL-chl), düşük dansiteli kolesterol (LDL-chl) düzeyleri, 48 sağlıklı (25 kadın , 23 erkek) kontrolun değerleri ile karşılaştırılarak incelendi. Tedavi öncesi dönemde hipertiroidik olguların tümünde serum t-chl, LDL-chl ue sadece kadın olgularda HDL-chl düzeylerinin düşük olduğu, LDL-chl hariç diğerlerinin tedavi sırasırıda normal değerlere yükseldiği gösterildi. Tedavinin ikinci ayının sonunda serum TG düzeyleri yüksek bulundu. Tedavi öncesi dönemde serum t-T3 değerleri ile LDL chl değerleri arasında, serum t-T4 ve s-T4 değerleri ile t-chl ve LDL-chl değerleri arasında negatif korelasyon olduğu belirlendi.

Forty -two patients, 31 women and 11 men, with hyperthyroidism were investigated concerning serum lipoprotein lipids with serum thyroid hormones and propylthiouracil treatment. Total-cholesterol (t-chl), triglycerides (TG ), high-density lipoprotein-cholesterol (HDL-chl), low density lipoprotein-cholesterol (LDL-chl) were determined in serum from hyperthyroid patients before and during the treatment. The above mentioned components were also determined in a reference population (25 women, 20 men). Before the treatment the serum thyroid hormones concentration were significantly higher and t-chl, LDL-chl, LDL-chl were significantly lower, and they were changed the normal values by the treatment. The serum lipoprotein, triglyceride concentrations were higher at the end of second month of the treatment A negative correlation was found between serum t-T3 and LDL-chl concentrations, cnd between serum c-T4 , s-T4 and t-chl, LDL-chl concentrations.
